Youth shoots girl, commits suicide in Bhopal

A youth shot three fires at a girl injuring her seriously and later committed suicide by shooting himself in Khajuri Sadak area here today, police said.

The youth, identified as Vinay Pachori, an engineering student, first fired three shots from a pistol causing grievous injuries to the girl identified as Chaya Sardar and  later shot himself by keeping the revolver on his temple following which he died on the spot, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Santosh Singh Gour said.
    
Police suspect it to be a case of love affair and is further probing the incident, he said.

The girl was rushed to a hospital, he said.
