Youth gunned down in broad daylight in Haryana

A youth was allegedly gunned down by two unidentified motorcycle-borne armed men in broad daylight on Gurgaon Road in Jhajjar in Haryana today, the police said.

The incident took place when the youth, who was on his way near United Bank in the area, was suddenly stopped by the assailants who opened fire at him from a close range and fled.

"The youth died on the spot," Jhajjar police station SHO Jugal Kishore said, adding that the reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.

"The police have registered a case of murder against two unidentified men," he said.
