Youth Akali Dal to protest in Delhi

Expressing concern over Sikhs being targeted in foreign countries, the Youth Akali Dal on Saturday said that they would demonstrate in front of Parliament if the Centre didn't take measures to redress the issue.

“This is happening to the people of a nation whose Prime Minister is a Sikh," said Bikram Singh Majithia of the organisation. He warned that if the UPA government didn't realise the seriousness of the issue then they would raise their voice in Delhi.
   
Quoting incidents where Sikhs have been asked to remove their turban at airports in various countries he said that such incidents have now become a routine matter in countries like Italy, France and US.

He accused the Congress of inaction and claimed that it is being done by design.
