Worker crushed to death in quarry in Tamil Nadu

A contract labourer was crushed to death and another injured when a huge rock fell on them at a stone quarry at suburban Trisulam hills today.

Police said Jagadesan and Madasamy were loading boulders in a lorry when the accident occurred.

The duo were standing atop of the lorry when a the boulder fell on the vehicle, killing Madasamy on the spot.

Jagadesan sustained injuries and was admitted to a nearyby hospital.

The lorry was compeltely damaged, police said.
