Woman killed by in-laws in Uttar Pradesh

An aganwadi worker was allegedly burnt to death today by her in-laws in Kakroli village of the district, police said.

Babita, who was married to Rajpal of Kakroli village was allegedly set on fire today by her in-laws, police said.

The incident came to light when in-laws of the deceased tried to cremate her body, police said, adding, her half-burnt body was recovered from the pile.

Search for the in-laws is on as they fled from the spot leaving the body, police said.
