Woman held for selling Commonwealth Games tickets in Delhi

Rekha, 34, was apprehended from near Jawaharlal Nehru stadium yesterday while trying to sell some tickets of the Games, a senior police official said.

A woman was arrested in south Delhi for allegedly selling tickets of Commonwealth Games in the black market, police said today.

Rekha, 34, was apprehended from near Jawaharlal Nehru stadium yesterday while trying to sell some tickets of the Games, a senior police official said.

A case has been registered. Rekha was apprehended from Gate No 14 of the stadium allegedly with around 100 complimentary tickets.

She works as an attendant in a school in Moti Bagh.
