Woman gangraped by doctor, engineer in Madhya Pradesh

A woman was allegedly gangraped by a doctor and an engineer in a farm house of the medico near Silvani town last night, police said today.

The doctor identified as SK Adhikari is absconding while he sub-engineer, posted in the Janpad Panchayat, Silvani, Manoj Verma was arrested.

The victim was the wife of a chowkidar working in the farm house of Adhikari and at the time of incident she was alone in the house, police said.

The woman today registered an FIR in the SC/ST police station following which her medical was conducted and later, police arrested Verma in this regard.

Search is on to arrest the doctor, police added.
