Woman ends life after poisoning son in Uttar Pradesh

A woman allegedly committed suicide after administering poison to her 15-year-old son in Kazikhera village in Muzaffarnagar, police said today.

Vimlesh, 35, allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison yesterday after poisoning her son, following a family dispute, they said, adding that the boy was rushed to a hospital where his condition was said to be stable.

Vimlesh's parents have alleged that she was poisoned by her in-laws, said officials, who are probing the incident.
