Opposition BJP in Rajasthan today asked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to clarify whether he will resign from the post in the wake of his government embroiled in the Bhanwari Devi missing case controversy.

Reacting to the Congress' attack on Adavani's Jan Chetna Yatra, BJP MLAs Kalicharan Saraf, Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Mohan Lal Gupta, Ashok Parnami accused the state government of being involved in corruption and asked the Chief Minister to clear his stand.

"Congress leaders should reply why Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and the entire cabinet is involved in mega corruption, before making any comment on Adavani's Yatra," they said in a joint statement here.

"He should clarify whether he will resign in the wake of controversial Bhanwari Devi missing case in which one state minister has been sacked," they asked.

Congress while highlighting the alleged corruption by the previous BJP government in the state demanded yesterday from Adavani to reply ten questions.

The questions were related with alleged scams and corruption during the tenure of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.

Adavani's yatra is beginning in Rajasthan tomorrow with first meeting in Jodhpur.
