Informing the house that one Haru Dey, had died in police custody in Bokaro's Chandankiari in 2006, Singh said that despite assurances of compensation, his family did not get a penny.

To another information by Jharkhand Janadhikar Manch MLA Bandhu Tirkey, the government announced a probe into the alleged eviction of a tribal from his house in Chutia in Ranchi.
