Bank employees and officers across West Bengal today wore black ribbons to condemn the brutal killing of four bank employees of the United Bank of India's Karimpur branch in Nadia district.
 
Bengal Bank Employees' Association and All-India Bank Officers' Association (WB) demanded compensation for the families of the four killed.
 
A gang of local anti-socials slit the throats of two officers, a part-time sweeper and a generator boy of the bank and left the deputy manager in a critical condition whilethey were at work late in the night on Friday.
