Vinod Paswan inducted into Congress in Bihar

Paswan expressed his desire to contest from Sonebersa constituency and criticised LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan for dividing the society on caste lines.

Vinod Paswan, a close associate of incarcerated former MP Anand Mohan, was today inducted into the Congress in the presence of Mukul Wasnik, union minister and AICC general secretary as well as in-charge Bihar affairs.

Paswan, who got an opportunity to address the gathering at S K Memorial in Patna today to welcome the return of former union minister Nagamani to the Congress fold, expressed his desire to contest from Sonebersa (SC) constituency and criticised LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan for dividing the society on caste lines.

Mohan's wife, Lovely Anand, a former MP was also present on the occasion.

Anand Mohan is behind bars for his alleged involvement in the killing of Gopalganj district magistrate G Krishnaiah in 1994.
