The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V Narayanasamy today requested the Lok Sabha Speaker to reject the draft report on 2G spectrum scam submitted by senior BJP leader and PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi, saying a majority of the panel members had not accepted it.

The report was "Murli Manohar Joshi's draft and not PAC draft," the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs told reporters here, accusing the BJP leader of being a "BJP agent in the committee rather than the chairman of PAC," and behaving in a "partisan and autocratic manner."

The members' request to enquire into 2G-related developments since 2003 when BJP-led NDA was in power, was not heeded to, he alleged.

The PAC's duties involved issues other than 2G also, Narayanasamy said and asked why Joshi was involved in one case (2G issue) alone for over a year.

He said while Congress had acted in cases of corruption, it was BJP that has not taken any step against its chief minister B S Yeddyurappa in Karnataka facing allegations of corruption and nepotism.

Asked about the Congress's relationship with its ally DMK in Tamil Nadu, especially after the CBI summoning MP K Kanimozhi in the 2G spectrum case, he said their alliance was "very strong" and the party (DMK) was "part of the system."

To another query on the UN report on alleged war crimes during the final stages of the Sri Lankan civil strife, he said, "India will not hesitate to condemn, if things were proved."
