Uproar in Bihar assembly over police lathicharge on nyaymitras

Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse nyayamitras of gram kutcheries across the state who jammed the busy Dak Bungalow demanding regularisation of their services yesterday.

Bihar assembly today witnessed an uproar with MLAs from chief opposition RJD, LJP, Congress and Left parties storming the well to protest against rejection of their adjournment motion seeking a debate on police lathicharge on nyayamitras here yesterday.
   
Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse nyayamitras of gram kutcheries across the state who jammed the busy Dak Bungalow round about here demanding regularisation of their services yesterday.
    
Raking up the issue, the RJD chief whip in the house Ramchandra Purve and Independent MLA Kishore Kumar brought the adjournment motion which was rejected by the speaker Udai Narayan Choudhary who said "it is not in keeping with the norms."
     
Hearing this, the opposition members stormed the well of the house and started shouting anti-government slogans in protest against the lathicharge.
     
As Choudhary continued to take up other listed business of the house, the opposition MLAs staged a noisy walkout from the house.
