''The Left parties, including CPI, will never allow the UPA government to pass the Civil Nuclear Liablity Bill in Parliament. The Centre is trying to pass the bill under US pressure,'' CPI national secretary D Raja told reporters here.

The government should learn lessons from America which had claimed compensation from the British Company for the oil spill tragedy, he said.

On the issue of Madras high court advocates staging fast demanding Tamil be made court language, he said the state government should adopt a resolution at the World Classical Tamil Conference, starting June 23 at Coimbatore, for making Tamil the court language.
