UP woman kills man for rape attempt on her daughter

A widow allegedly killed a man after he attempted to rape her daughter in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, the police said today.

Praveen, 30, forcibly entered the house of Kasturi Devi in Daultashahr village last night and allegedly tried to rape her daughter, SP (city) JK Shahi said.

In a bid to save the girl, Kasturi attacked Praveen with an axe killing him on the spot, the officer said.
