UP govt bans strikes in all SRTC departments

Uttar Pradesh government today imposed a ban on strikes in all the State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) departments for the next six months.

"We have banned strike in all the UPSRTC departments/ services for the next six months declaring them essential services", principal secretary, transport Pankaj Agarwal said.

He said that the decision has been taken to avoid inconvenience to the people due to strikes.
