Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister, Uma Bharti, today hit out at Congress general secretary, Digvijay Singh, for his statements following action against Baba Ramdev and his followers in Delhi post midnight.

Digvijay had called the yoga guru a "fraud".

The former BJP leader told PTI here that it appeared that from being a general secretary of the Congress, Singh had turned into a "spokesman" for those having black money.

"Those having black money should be happy for having Singh as their new spokesperson," she said.

She also said that action against Baba Ramdev would not end the issue of black money.

"The government is living in a fool's paradise if it thinks that by arresting Baba Ramdev, it can sort out the problem of black money in the country."

Bharti said she was leaving for Dehra Dun -- where Ramdev was taken after removal from Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
