UAE ambassador meets Kerala CM

The newly designated ambassador of United Arab Emirates in India, Mohamed Sultan Abedalla-al-Owais today met Kerala chief minister VS Achuthanandan here.

During the visit, held at the state-owned Mascot hotel, the ambassador held talks on visa problems of Keralites, certificate attestation and issues relating to Indian prisoners in UAE, an official press release here said.

Achuthanandan said the ambassador had assured him that the visa and certificate attestation problems of Indians would be solved.
