Two National Democratic Front of Bodoland ultras shot dead in Assam

Two hardcore militants of the anti-talk faction of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) were today shot dead by the police in Assam's Sonitpur district.
 
The two ultras challenged a team of policemen at Mainajuli under Rangapara police station, ensuing an encounter in which the duo was killed.
 
Two pistols and a magazine of ammunition were found from the slain ultras who were yet to be identified.
