Two more people succumbed to H1N1 infection here, taking the death toll due to swine flu in Gujarat to 88, health officials said today.
Rajesh Shah (56) died at the VS Hospital here this evening, while one Nanji Patel (45) died yesterday at a private hospital, they said.
Officials further said that 21 more people have tested positive for swine flu virus taking the total number of cases reported from the state to 575.
They are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Ahmedabad, Rajkot Bhavnagar, Kheda, Vadodara and Mehsana.
According to officials, out of 88 deaths so far, 81 were from the state while seven persons who had come from Rajasthan for treatment died here.
