Two men resembling blast suspects detained in Alwar

Two men hailing from Kashmir were detained here as they apparently resembled the sketches of the suspects in the Delhi High Court blast case.

Abdul Gani (45) and Miyan Ahemad (35), hailing from a village in Anantnag, were detained last evening from Kishangarh Bas area after some people reported that their faces resembled the sketches of the blast suspects released by Delhi Police, Additional Superintendent of Police Mahendra said.

However, primary investigations suggest that they were not involved in any suspicious activity, he said.

The two men were interrogated by senior police officers last night and their identities have been verified, the SP said.
