But so far, only Saiyed has been arrested while Gandhi and Panchal are still absconding.
But for more than 20,000 investors across the state, the real question is, whether they will get their money back.
"It is good that that the ponzi operator, Saiyed has been arrested. I have invested Rs50 lakh in various schemes of Abhay Gandhi. Even if Gandhi is caught the moot question is will I get my money back?" said Jainil Shah, a businessman who is eagerly looking for Gandhi for the past one month.
Similarly, Imran Vora who has invested more than Rs1.5 lakh in Imtsons , is a worried man. "The police have arrested Saiyed. But what will happen to my money? I want my money back. Those who invested with con man Ashok Jadeja are yet to get their money back. I think I too need to kiss my money goodbye," said Vora. In case of Shraddha Saburi Consultancy's ponzi schemes, the operator, Haresh Panchal and his family are still absconding while the investors continue to look for them.
"I have lost hope about getting my money back," said Rasul Khan, who has put around Rs80,000 in the ponzi scheme operated by Panchal. Khan is now ready to forget the money but is not interested in getting into police 'hassles'. "Let my money go. But I am very much afraid of stepping into police stations. The Panchals have fled with my money and even if they are arrested, I don't think that cops will help me get it back," said Khan.
