Two killed in road accident in Madhya Pradesh

Two persons were killed and nine others injured when a tractor-trolley carrying them overturned after colliding with a crane at Kothari village near Ashta town about 50 km from here, police said today.
     
The mishap occurred last night when the victims were returning to Kothari village from Indore after attending a religious function, they said.

The tractor-trolley collided with a crane which was towing a truck at a sharp turn killing Shivnarayan Khati (58) and Ghasiram Khati (55), both of Kothari village, on the spot, police said.

Four critically injured have been referred to Sehore district hospital, while the others are undergoing treatment at Ashta Hospital, they said.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on, police said.
