Two killed in fire at Alang ship breaking yard

Two persons were killed and two others injured after fire broke out in a ship when it was being dismantled at the Alang ship breaking yard here, police said today.
   
The incident took place yesterday when vessel MT Devsi was being dismantled at Plot 27 of the yard, using gas cutters, they said.
   
One person was found charred inside the ship while another died during treatment in Bhavnagar civil hospital, where the injured have also been admitted, they said.
   
Alang fire officer PD Vyas said the cause behind the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
   
The deceased have been identified as Dindayal Paswan (42) and Brij Bhushan (34), police added.
