Two killed, five injured in road mishap in Bihar

Two persons were killed and five others injured, two of them seriously, when a truck dashed against a jeep near Makhar village in Nawada district today, police said.
     
Station house officer (SHO) of Akbarpur police station Ashok Kumar said a Nawada bound jeep was hit by a speeding truck coming from opposite direction killing two persons on the spot and causing injuries to five others.
      
While the seriously injured persons were rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital for better medicare, people with minor injuries were being treated at a government hospital here.
