Two killed, 42 injured in mishap in Dholpur

Two persons were killed and 42 others injured when the bus they were travelling in collided with a truck in Rajasthan's Dholpur district today, police said.

The accident took place near Sepur village in the district, 298km from Jaipur, they said, adding that the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where the driver and a passenger were declared dead on arrival.

About 24 people were hospitalised and their condition was stated to be stable. The remaining 18 were discharged after being provided first aid.
