Two killed, 11 injured in road accident in JK

Two persons were killed and eleven others injured when a matador, carrying a marriage party, skidded off the road and turned turtle at Manthal, about 40kms from here, on Jammu-Srinagar highway, police said today.
 
The accident occurred when the vehicle driver was negotiating a curve late last night. The vehicle was on its way from Rehmbal village to Jhajjar Kotli, they said.
 
Mohan Lal died on the spot, while Sanjay Kumar succumbed to injuries at a district hospital in Udhampur.
 
Eleven others, who were injured in the accident, were admitted to the district hospital.
 
In another separate accident, ten persons were injured in a head-on-collision between a car and a bus at Jagti, near Nagrota, about 15 km from here this morning.
 
All the injured were admitted in Government Medical College hospital, they said.
