Two persons were injured today in a bomb blast suspected to have been triggered by Maoists at Amjore village in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district.

The blast occurred as a person tried to pull aside a tree trunk to clear the traffic on the road in Naxal-hit Patamda police station, Superintendent of Police, NK Singh, said here.

The tree was cut down by Maoists to lay across the road and obstruct traffic during their two-day statewide bandh
