Two in police custody for killing one

Vijay Solanki and his friend Iqbal Nasir have been remanded to two-day police custody on charges of killing former's (Solanki's) mother Champaben's lover, Gulma Jamalkha Baloch, on Bodeli-Dhokalia road, police said. After recovery of the body of Baloch from Bodeli-Dholakia road two days ago, police arrested Solanki and Nasir who confessed to killing him. Police are in search of their friend, Gopal, who was also involved in this crime.

According to police, Champaben, a widow, and Baloch, a divorcee, were in a relationship for last seven months. When Vijay came to know about this, police said, he decided to kill Baloch with the help of his two friends. Vijay invited the deceased to a party, stoned him to death there. His friends were involved in this killing.
