Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants held in north Kashmir

Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants, who were trained in Pakistan, were arrested by security forces in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, police said today.
     
Abdul Hameed Para alias Suliman and Ghulam Jeelani Wani alias Khalid, both residents of Baramulla district, were arrested by a joint search party of police and army at village Unisoo in Handwara, 80 km from here last night.
     
Two Chinese pistols alongwith two magazines and 14 rounds were recovered from them, police said.
     
The arrest of the duo comes close on the heels of the busting of a Lashkar-e-Taiba module by police in Kulgam district of south Kashmir yesterday with the arrest of three militants.
