Two family members killed in mishap in Haryana

The accident occurred last evening when a motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a car on Hisar-Tohna road near Barwala town.

Two members of a family were killed when a motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a car on Hisar-Tohna road near Barwala town, about 25km from here, police said today.

The accident occurred last evening when the victims, residents of Bithmara village, were returning to their village. The speeding car hit the motorcycle injuring them seriously. On their way to a hospital they succumbed to their injuries, they said.

The deceased were identified as Sushil, 25, and his sister Seema, 18.

A case of negligence and rash driving has been registered against the car driver, who is absconding.
