A two-year-old boy and a youth were killed in separate road accidents in the city.

The minor was crushed to death by a tempo in Nangloi area this morning when he was accompanying his father to the market.

The child was standing next to his father Vinod Kumar near the Lokesh cinema in Nangloi when a tempo hit him, police said. The driver fled the spot immediately.

In another incident, a 25-year-old man was killed yesterday after he fell down from bus he was travelling and came under its wheels in the Nangloi area. He was hanging on the foot board of the DTC bus and was hit by another bus after which he fell down, police said.

The victim, Pradeep, is a resident of Sultanpuri in Outer Delhi and he was going to his work place in Palam. He was travelling on the footboard as the bus was very crowded.

He was taken to Baba Sahib Ambedkar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
