Two army jawans killed, six injured in explosion in J&K

At least two army jawans were killed and six others injured today in an explosion in an army vehicle in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

A blast took place inside the vehicle at around 6 PM when an army convoy was on its way to Pattan, 55 kms from here, officials said, adding it was not clear what led to the explosion.

Two jawans were killed and six injured in the incident, they said.

The nature of the blast and other details were being ascertained, defence spokesman Lt Colonel JS Brar said.
