Twelve passengers injured in stone-pelting in Uttar Pradesh

At least twelve people were injured when an irate mob pelted stones on a bus that hit a motorcycle on the Delhi-Haridwar national highway, police said.
     
The incident took place yesterday near Bhensi village when the bus carrying 34 passengers hit the bike and injured the rider who belonged to the village, they said.
     
The agitated locals later took to stone-pelting and damaged the vehicle injuring many passengers.
     
A case has been registered and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital, they added.
