Troops defuse landmine along Indo-Pak border in Samba

A landmine, found along the Indo-Pak border in Samba district, was today defused safely by the security forces, the police said.

Acting on information provided by some villagers, men of Army Engineering Unit rushed to the spot and recovered the mine from agriculture fields near the international border in Regal village, 60kms from Jammu, they said.

The device was later defused safely.
