Training programme for paramedics ahead of Commonwealth games

More than 60 nurses and para-medical staff were today imparted training by doctors in different fields to equip them with the expertise required for taking care of health of athletes and sportspersons.The programme was organised by Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi.

Delhi health minister, Kiran Walia inaugurated the two-day programme which included hands-on training in basic life support skills, initial assessment, pre-hospital care of trauma victims and other specialities.
