Trader shot dead in Uttar Pradesh

A trader was shot dead by unidentified persons allegedly over some family feud in Sadatpur locality, a senior police officer said here today.

Vijay Narain Pandey was shot at by unidentified persons last night when he was returning home from his shop at Azeem market, Superintendent of Police Veer Bahadur Singh said, adding he died on his way to a hospital.

Prima facie it seems that Pandey was killed over some family tiff, Singh said, adding that a case had been lodged.
