Three men arrested for abducting youths in Uttar Pradesh

Three persons were arrested for allegedly abducting two youths about a month back from Larau village, a senior officer said here.

Sachin Sharma (22) and Rinku (25) were abducted for ransom by armed criminals on August 20, superintendent of police Uday Pratap said, adding Rs 20 lakh was demanded for their release.

Sachin and Rinku were rescued after a search operation was launched in the ravines of Nagla Tula area in Nagla Khangar village.

"Three criminals identified as Rakesh, Laljeet and Vijay Veer were arrested and fire-arms were recovered from their possession," the SP said.
