Three killed, two injured in mishap in Tamil Nadu

Three persons, including two women were killed on the spot and two others seriously injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry.
   
Police said Kulandaivelu (41), an airport employee at Coimbatore, his wife, mother-in-law and son were on their way back to the city after offering worship at the Bannariaman temple when the mishap occured near Vinnapalli on the Sathyamangalam-Coimbatore National Highway.   

The injured have been hospitalised, police said.
