Three killed, 22 injured in accident in Jammu and Kashmir

The incident occured when a matador, which was on its way from Bhalla to Bhaderwah, skidded off the road and fell into the 250-feet deep gorge at Saine.

Three persons were today killed and 22 others injured when a matador in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said here.

The matador, which was on its way from Bhalla to Bhaderwah, skidded off the road and fell into the 250-feet deep gorge at Saine, about 180 km from here, they said.

Three persons died on the spot, while 22 others were injured, they said.

Police and security forces have launched a rescue operation to evacuate the injured from the site of accident, they said.
