Three arrested for drug peddling in Srinagar

Three persons, including two residents of Punjab, have been arrested on charges of drug peddling in Anantnag district today.

Police intercepted a car at Khanabal, 45 kms from Srinagar, and recovered 200 grams of charas from the possession of its driver Shabir Ahmad Parray.

Parray, a resident of Charsoo- Awantipora, was arrested and a case registered against him.

In a separate incident, police arrested Manjeet Singh and Arjun Singh, both residents of Amritsar, and recovered six kgs of fuki, a narcotic substance, from their possession at Khanabal.

Police have registered a case against the duo.
