Three agencies begin probe into Doon Express fire

Three agencies Wednesday began investigating the cause of the fire which engulfed two AC coaches of Doon Express killing seven passengers in Jharkhand's Giridih district.

Principal Officer of Forensic department AK Sinha, Eastern Zone Railway Safety Commissioner Arti Yadav and Jharkhand Fire Brigade Services chief Suresh Prasad went to the spot and examined the two fire-ravaged coaches at Roshantunda near Parasnath, according to railway sources here.

Later, Yadav spoke to train driver and other staff at Gomoh.

People who had information about yesterday's fire were asked to appear before the safety commissioner here tomorrow.
