Three abductors killed in encounter, victims rescued

Three persons, who had allegedly abducted two youths, were today gunned down in an encounter with police and the victims safely rescued.

Three persons were killed in an encounter near Asrawali village under Naseerpur village this afternoon and two youths abducted on February 14 were safely rescued," superintendent of police Uday Pratap said.

He said that Abdul Rehman and Nabi Hasan were abducted on February 14 from Kaurara in Sirsaganj and a ransom of  Rs2 lakh was demanded for their safe release.

"Efforts are being made to establish the identity of the abductors killed in the encounter," he said.
