Thief held with fake Anti-Corruption Bureau identity card

A 25-year-old man was caught red-handed with a stolen bike near Big Bazar in Satellite on Sunday. He was also carrying a fake identity card of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) along with duplicate keys, cutter among others. The man has been identified as Alpesh B Patel, resident of Khudiyadnagar society, Panchvati area in Kalol. According to police, Patel was found suspiciously moving around Big Bazar parking area.

During checking police found several articles from his possession. Even the bike he was riding was a stolen one, police said. A complaint about the stolen bike was already registered with Satellite police. The actual owner of the bike was later called to the police station who identified the bike. Patel had changed the number plate of the bike.
