Teenager killed by neighbour in Lucknow for affair with daughter

A 16-year-old youth was killed in Firozabad district allegedly by his neighbour who was opposed to the boy's love affair with his daughter, the police in Lucknow said today.

The body of Gaurav Shrama alias Sitaram, who was missing since last night, was recovered from a drain, they said.

Police said preliminary investigation revealed that Gaurav was killed by his neighbour Bangali Babu with the help of his brothers Bhagwan and Satyadeo. His body was later thrown into the drain, they said.

"Gaurav was having an affair with Bangali Babu's daughter Pooja," they said adding, the girl's family was opposed to the relationship.
