AMR Infrastructure, owner of the mall from where a bungee jumping trainer fell to death, today paid Rs8 lakh relief cheque to the deceased's parents.

"AMR Infrastructures expresses profound grief for the ill-fated and untoward incident, as a responsible organisation we have taken a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and are supporting the family of the deceased with Rs8 lakhs," the company said in a press statement.

Tourism Worx, the organisation entrusted with adventure activities, will also contribute financially to support the family, it said.

The company also released statement of Virendra Kumar Bisht, brother of the deceased stuntman Shailendra Singh Bisht in which he stated that his brother was trained man and had 10 years experience in mountaineering.

Yesterday's incident which proved fatal for him was accidental mishap associated with such adventures, he said.

Bisht met with gruesome death yesterday when the rope supporting him snapped near the seventh floor of the Great Adventure Mall, Noida.
