Residents of Thotapalli village and of Ramakrishna Colony in Timmapur mandal complained about their backwardness in respect of education, agriculture and employment and other issues.
The committee then took the opinion of various political parties and groups on the contentious Telangana issue.
It will visit Adilabad and Nizamabad districts next week.
The Srikrishna Committee has been undertaking field visits in all the districts of the Andhra Pradesh over the last one month.
The panel had received about 1,25,000 representations and held consultations with about 100 groups as part of the public interaction process. It is scheduled to submit its report to the Centre by December 31, this year.
