Though the Chief of Air Staff expressed his happiness over the "fine landing" here by fixed wing aircraft, his wife was much happier, when Squadron leader VP Naik and her son executed a smooth landing at the IAF station.

"It was a fine landing by him. His mother had told him that if the landing wasn't good, she would take him to task. But the landing was very good," Air Chief Marshal PV Naik told reporters.
    
The Air Chief Marshal and his wife were being flown in a aircraft piloted by their son to Pathankot from New Delhi.
    
Asked if he is happy on being piloted by his son Squadron Leader VP Naik, the COAS said, "His mother was more happy."
    
Air Chief and his wife Madhubala left back for Delhi this evening after two-days stay at Pathankot IAF station.
