Sohrabuddin case: Two accused to get copies of charge sheet

After former minister of state for home Amit Shah, two other accused in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh case will be given copies of the CBI charge sheet. They are suspended DySP NK Amin and ADC Bank director Yashpal Chudasama.

Designated CBI judge AI Rawal on Wednesday ordered the CBI to provide copies of the charge sheet to Amin and Chudasama after their lawyers moved applications seeking the same.

Chudasama's lawyer Ajitsinh Jadeja said, "We have asked for the charge sheet to know the charges and evidences against him. We will decide the future course of action after getting the copy of the charge sheet."
Chudasama is charged with destruction of evidence and giving

threat to Sohrabuddin's brother Rubabuddin to withdraw the case. A close aide of Amit Shah, he is a director of the Ahmedabad District Co-operative bank. He is evading arrest and the CBI court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against him.

On Tuesday, the lawyers of Amit Shah were provided with a copy of the charge sheet.
